The reason I am apart of this organization is described best in a song by Dinah Washington (This Bitter Earth) where she states "...and if my life, is like the dust, that hides the glow of a rose, what good Am I?" It is important to do my part in assisting others in revealing their beauty or inner rose.

I decided to join TLAS because I wanted to help children that couldn't help themselves and give them guidance. It's my way of giving back to the community and the future generations; so they can grow up with a sense of eagerness in wanting to be and do better. TLAS is equipped to assist in those life skills.

For the love of the youth in my community and communities around, I want to be one of those who's in the village to help raise the children.

God place me here to make a difference in the communities and children of our society. I love meeting the needs of those who aren’t as fortunate as others. Altruism is moving in the direction to uplift. There is no better joy than helping our children of the future go to higher levels than they ever could.
